The Greater Toronto Sewer and Watermain Contractors Association (GTSWCA) has been representing sewer and watermain construction contractors in the Greater Toronto Area (Halton, Peel, York and Durham Regions and the City of Toronto) for more than 60 years, and currently serves over 200 member companies. Goals extend far beyond lobbying for increased funding. Concerns include labour relations, water systems management and legislation, the environment, health and safety, security, contract terms, engineering, and many other issues relevant to the sewer and watermain construction industry. As an active member, The CEO of Earth Boring is a sitting director of the GTSWCA board.
The Ontario Sewer and Watermain Construction Association (OSWCA) champions the water and wastewater industry through advocacy, education, and environmentally sustainable practices to enhance the quality of life for all Ontarians. Established in 1971 the OSWCA represents nearly 800 companies across Ontario including contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and consulting engineers. The OSWCA membership is structured by ten local associations, two pipe producers, and one independent association. Collectively performing over $1 billion a year in capital projects to ensure clean safe drinking water and environmentally responsible wastewater treatment and disposal.
Our Vice President of Operations is actively engaged as a board member and is set to become the President of the association in 2025.
Earth Boring would like to acknowledge the Government of Canada support through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). As recipients Earth Boring has been able to support growth opportunities in the construction sector.
Earth Boring has been a contributing member of North American Society of Trenchless Technology (NASTT) for over a decade. Supporting events, trade shoes and exhibiting in local No-Dig programs.
The Tunnelling Association of Canada (TAC) brings together Canadian, North American and International individuals and firms to promote and advance Canadian tunnelling and underground excavation technologies and to represent the interests of the tunnelling and underground excavation community in matters of technical and public concern.
